A day at Little Cubs
From breakfast to home time
Every day is a little different, and every child follows their own routine. Here’s the gentle rhythm most of our cubs follow.
Doors open
A warm welcome, breakfast for early arrivals and a calm start to the day.
Good morning circle
Songs, the weather and what we’re exploring today.
Play and learn
Child-led play, small-group activities, messy play and stories.
Lunch
We sit and eat together, chatting and practising independence.
Rest and quiet time
Naps for those who need them, books and puzzles for those who don’t.
Outdoors
Fresh air, running, digging, exploring and den-building.
Snack and Big Cubs Club
School-age children arrive for games, crafts and homework time.
Tea
A light tea before home time.
Home time
Hand-over with a chat about your child’s day.
Open Monday–Saturday, 7am–7pm. Times are a guide and change with the children’s needs, the seasons and the weather.
Every day
What you can count on
Your child’s routine, respected
Babies and young children keep their own feeding, nap and comfort routines. We follow your lead and adapt as they grow.
Outside every day
Indoor and outdoor learning go hand in hand. Children get fresh air and active play in all but the worst weather.
You’re always in the loop
At pick-up we’ll tell you how your child’s day went, including what they ate, how they slept and what they enjoyed.
See a day for yourself
The best way to get a feel for Little Cubs is to visit. Book a visit and we’ll show you around, answer your questions and talk about your child’s needs.
